1st Birthday Card

Welcome to my new follower Liz. Please do pop over to her blog and
take a look at her lovely makes.

Today I have a birthday card to share which I made for the little girl next door
who celebrated her first birthday over the weekend.
We had a lovely time at her birthday party too!
I found the idea for the shape of the card on Pinterest, which led me here on to
Rainy Day Creations blog, where Susan has very kindly shared the
measurements and a drawing of the card.
Once measured and cut, I embossed the front of the card, added the sentiment,
Seren's name and the banner using black mirri card.
As Seren is a Welsh name meaning 'star', I thought it would be nice to add some
tiny diamantés stars to the banner.

The items I have used are:-
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Polka Dots
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles and Scalloped circles
Memory Box - Simple Banner
QuicKutz Sunshine Mini Alphabet
Sentiment and circle stamp were free gifts with a craft magazine.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Alphabet Challenge - D is for Dots
Cardz 4 Galz - Use an Embossing Folder
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes
My Sheri Crafts - Get in Shape (not a square or rectangle)
Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - Anything Goes with a Twist/Make It Female
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking in.
